How Do I Connect Calendly?
Connecting Calendly takes about two minutes and gives FullSlot the ability to detect cancellations automatically. If you're using Square, Acuity, Vagaro, or Webhook Bridge, this article is still useful context but the steps differ.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- Admin access to your Calendly account
- At least one event type set up in Calendly (your appointment types)
Steps
1. Go to Integrations in FullSlot. In the left sidebar, click Integrations. You'll see a Calendly section with a Connect Calendly button.

2. Click Connect Calendly. You'll be redirected to Calendly's authorization page.
3. Authorize FullSlot. Calendly will ask if you want to allow FullSlot to access your account. Click Allow. This gives FullSlot read access to your event types and the ability to receive webhook notifications when appointments are cancelled.

4. You're redirected back to FullSlot. You'll see a confirmation that Calendly is connected, along with your organization and user details.

5. Map your event types. Connecting Calendly is step one. Step two is mapping your Calendly event types to your FullSlot appointment types — this tells FullSlot which waitlist to notify when each type of appointment is cancelled.
What FullSlot does (and doesn't) do with Calendly access
- Does: Listen for cancellation webhooks, read your event types
- Does not: Modify your appointments, change your booking settings, or access client payment information
If you want revenue reporting, connect payments separately (Stripe for Calendly or Square payments).
Your Calendly setup stays exactly as it is.
Troubleshooting
The Connect button isn't doing anything. Try a different browser or disable any popup blockers. The authorization happens in a new window.
I authorized but it says "not connected." This can happen if you navigated away before the authorization completed. Try again from the Integrations page.
I connected the wrong Calendly account. Go to Integrations, click Disconnect, then reconnect with the correct account.
