How Do I Connect Outlook Calendar?
How Do I Connect Outlook Calendar?
FullSlot connects to Outlook and Microsoft 365 calendars directly via Microsoft, so cancellations are detected without any manual work on your end.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- A Microsoft account (personal Outlook or Microsoft 365 work/school account)
- Admin or owner access to the calendar you use for appointments
- At least one appointment type set up in FullSlot
How to connect
1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar 2. Click Connect next to Outlook Calendar 3. Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorize the connection 4. Select which calendar to monitor 5. Map your appointment types to the event patterns FullSlot should recognize
Once connected, FullSlot watches your Outlook calendar for cancellations in real time.
How cancellations are detected
FullSlot uses Microsoft's calendar change notifications to detect cancellations as they happen. A backup polling check runs periodically to catch anything that might have been missed.
Troubleshooting
The connection isn't showing as active:
- Make sure you completed the Microsoft authorization flow fully
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting from Integrations
Cancellations aren't being detected:
- Verify the calendar you connected is the one your appointments live on
- Check that your event types are mapped — unmapped types are silently ignored
