How Do I Manually Add an Available Slot?
You can create a slot manually and notify your waitlist — useful for openings that didn't come from a Calendly cancellation.
When to use this
- You blocked off time on your calendar and want to offer it to waitlisted clients
- A cancellation happened outside of Calendly and wasn't automatically detected
- You have a last-minute opening from a no-show
- You want to run a one-time availability (e.g., an added Saturday session)
How to add a manual slot
1. Go to Cancellations → New slot.

2. Select the appointment type. This determines which waitlist will be notified.
3. Set the date and time. Enter the start date and time of the open slot.
4. Click "Notify Waitlist Now." A confirmation dialog will ask you to confirm before anything is sent. Click OK and FullSlot immediately sends notifications to everyone on the waitlist for that appointment type, just like it would for an automatic cancellation.
What happens next?
The slot works exactly like any other open slot:
- Clients receive the same notification message
- First to respond gets the slot
- Others receive a "slot just filled" message
- The slot appears in your Cancellations history
Can I send the notification later?
Not currently — notifying the waitlist is the final step when creating a manual slot. If you want to wait before notifying, you can create the slot and then send from the slot detail page when you're ready.
