How Do I Notify a Specific Client Manually?

If you want to reach out to a single client about an open slot — instead of notifying the whole waitlist — you can do that from the slot's detail page.


When to use this

  • A client reached out directly and you want to give them first shot at a slot
  • A client was missed in an earlier notification (opt-out was recently fixed, number was corrected, etc.)
  • You want to re-engage a specific client who hasn't responded to previous notifications

How to notify a specific client

1. Go to Cancellations.

2. Find the slot and click to open its detail page.

3. In the client list, find the client you want to notify.

4. Click the Notify button next to their name.

FullSlot sends them the standard notification message for that slot — the same SMS or email they would have received automatically.


What if the slot is already filled?

You can only send a manual notification for slots that are still in Available status. If the slot has already been filled or expired, the Notify action won't be available.


Does this affect other clients?

No. Notifying one client manually does not re-notify the rest of the waitlist. Only the client you selected will receive the message.
