Using the Google Calendar Add-on
The FullSlot Google Calendar add-on lets you manage your waitlist directly from Google Calendar — without opening a separate tab. You can pin appointment types to individual events, confirm matches, and see slot status from the Calendar sidebar.
When to use the add-on
The add-on is optional. If your event titles follow a consistent pattern (e.g., "Botox – 60 min"), FullSlot can usually match them automatically without any help.
The add-on is most useful when:
- Your event titles are informal or inconsistent (e.g., "Ashley 2pm", "bx w/ Dr. K")
- You want to confirm or override a classification before notifications go out
- You're reviewing held events from the calendar view
Install the add-on
1. Open Google Workspace Marketplace 2. Search for FullSlot 3. Click Install and follow the prompts 4. Grant the requested permissions — FullSlot needs read access to your calendar events
Once installed, the FullSlot panel appears in the Google Calendar right sidebar.
Using the sidebar panel
When you click on any calendar event, the FullSlot panel shows:
- Appointment type — what FullSlot matched the event to (or "Unmatched" if it couldn't determine one)
- Waitlist status — how many clients are waiting for this type
- Slot status — whether a slot exists, and if so, whether it's Ready, Pending, or Claimed
From the panel you can:
- Pin the appointment type — override or confirm the classification for this event
- Add to waitlist — add a client directly from the event view
- Open in FullSlot — jump to the full slot detail page
Pinning an appointment type
If FullSlot shows the wrong type (or "Unmatched"), click Change next to the appointment type and select the correct one. FullSlot saves this as a classification rule — future events with a similar title will be matched automatically.
Troubleshooting
The FullSlot panel isn't showing:
- Make sure you completed the Google Calendar integration first (see How Do I Connect Google Calendar?)
- Try refreshing Google Calendar or reopening the sidebar
The panel shows "Unmatched":
- The event title doesn't match any existing rule or pattern
- Use the Pin option to classify it — this also teaches FullSlot for next time
