How Do I Use the Revenue Calendar?

The Revenue Calendar is a monthly view of every slot FullSlot has tracked — laid out day by day, colored by what happened. It gives you a quick visual sense of how your month went without having to filter through a list.

You'll find it in the sidebar under Revenue Calendar (visible to account owners only).

What you see

At the top — three summary numbers for the month:

  • Slots Filled — how many cancellations were successfully filled by someone on your waitlist
  • Expired — slots where the notification window closed without anyone claiming it
  • Revenue Recovered — the sum of appointment prices for every filled slot. Only appears if you've added prices to your appointment types in Settings. For actual payments, see Analytics.

The calendar grid — each day shows the slots that started on that day. Each slot is a colored pill:

| Color | Meaning | |---|---| | Green | Slot was filled — someone on the waitlist claimed it | | Amber | Slot expired — the window closed without a claim | | Blue | Slot is still open (upcoming available slot) | | Green with purple outline | Cascade fill — a client claimed an earlier slot, which freed this one up automatically |

Click any slot pill to go to that slot's detail page — you'll see who was notified, who claimed it, and the full timeline.

The cascade outline

If you see a green pill with a purple ring around it, that's a cascade fill. It means:

1. A client on your waitlist claimed a different slot 2. Because they already had a future appointment, their old appointment was automatically cancelled 3. FullSlot detected that cancellation and re-broadcast the freed time to your waitlist 4. Someone claimed it

This is one of the best things FullSlot does automatically — one cancellation fills two slots. The cascade outline makes these wins visible so you can see how often it's working for you.

Navigating months

Use the ← → arrows in the top right to move back through previous months. You can't navigate forward past the current month — the calendar only shows what's already happened or is currently open.

Setting up revenue tracking

If the Revenue Recovered card says "Add prices to schedules to track," it means your appointment types don't have prices configured yet. To fix this:

1. Go to Settings → Appointment Types 2. Click Edit on an appointment type 3. Enter the price and save

Revenue is calculated from filled slots only. Expired and open slots don't count. If you have payments connected (Square or Stripe), you can also view actual payments in Analytics.

Mobile

On a phone, the calendar switches from a grid to a date-grouped list — only days with slots are shown, which makes it easy to scroll through quickly.
